The generator writes artifacts paths, expire_in and cache paths when a job has them, which the templates include.

Does it lint the file with GitLab's CI Lint?
No. The tool generates YAML locally and does not talk to GitLab. Run the result through your project's CI Lint or push it to a branch to confirm it.
Which keywords does the generated file use?
It writes stages, a global variables block and, per job, stage, image, before_script, script, after_script, artifacts and cache, depending on what the job contains.
