URL-safe Base64
Encode with - and _ instead of + and /, and no = padding, as used in JWTs and URLs. Decoding adds the padding back.

Drop a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, SVG, ICO or BMP to get a data URI, with copy buttons for the raw URI, a CSS background-image rule and an HTML img tag. Paste a data URI to preview and save the image.

Is Base64 encryption?
No. Base64 is an encoding that anyone can reverse, so it does not protect data. Treat a Base64 string as if it were the plain value.
How do I decode a URL-safe Base64 string?
Open the URL-Safe tab, keep URL-safe encoding enabled, paste the string and press decode. The tool converts - and _ back and adds any missing padding.
