Photos often carry the camera model, timestamps and the exact GPS position where they were taken. The EXIF Inspector shows every EXIF tag in a file and flags embedded location, then writes a clean copy with the metadata removed. It runs locally, which matters when the photos are private.

Every EXIF field in the file is listed with its tag name and value, grouped by section. Click a file in the list to inspect it.
GPS warning and map link
If the photo contains GPS coordinates, they are shown in decimal form with a warning. A link opens the position in OpenStreetMap in your browser.
Strip metadata without re-encoding
Stripping removes EXIF and XMP data and PNG text chunks without touching the pixels, so image quality does not change. The color profile is kept.
Batch stripping
Drop many photos and strip them all at once. Each result is saved as name-clean, and the original is never overwritten.

How do I remove EXIF data from a photo?
Drop the photo into the EXIF Inspector and press Strip metadata. It writes a name-clean copy without EXIF and XMP data, and the pixels are unchanged.
Does the tool send my photos anywhere?
No. Files are read and written locally. The only network action is optional: the map link opens OpenStreetMap in your browser when you click it.
