cURL Generator
Build cURL commands from a form, or import an existing one.
cURL flags are easy to forget and quoting a JSON body by hand is error-prone. The cURL Generator gives you a form for the method, URL, headers, body, authentication and options, and produces a command you can paste into a terminal or a README. It only builds text and never sends the request, so tokens and passwords you type stay on your machine.
Method, URL and query params
Pick a method, enter the URL and add query parameters as rows. Enabled parameters are percent-encoded and appended to the URL.
Four body types
Choose no body, raw or JSON with a content type, URL-encoded form fields, or multipart form data with text and file fields. Single quotes in a raw body are escaped for the shell.
Authentication helpers
Add Basic auth (-u), a Bearer token, or a custom API key header. Common headers can be added with one click.
Option flags
Toggle follow redirects (-L), ignore SSL errors (-k), verbose (-v), silent (-s) and include headers (-i), and set a timeout in seconds with --max-time.
One-line and multi-line output
Copy the command as a single line or as a multi-line version with backslash continuations. Quick-start presets load a few common request shapes.
Import an existing command
Paste a cURL command and load its method, headers, body and URL back into the form. The parser is simple and reads -X, -H, -d and the URL only.
Does the cURL Generator run the command for me?
No. It only builds the command text. To send the request from inside the app, use the REST API Tester, or paste the command into your own terminal.
Can I import any cURL command?
Only simple ones. The importer reads the -X method, -H headers, -d body and the URL. Other flags, such as -u or -F, are not imported, so check the form after loading.
Send HTTP requests and inspect status, headers, body and timing.
